In this role, you will:
- Work in collaboration with regional leadership to effectively and prudently grow the loan portfolio
- Review , challeng e and approv e loans in excess of front line credit officer authority levels
- Ensur e conformity with bank policies, risk appetite and procedures
- Develop guidance, advising and partnering with key Business stakeholders on sound credit risk practices
- Monitor delinquency, loss and risk rating accuracy across all assigned regions and/or products
- Analyze Portfolio Performance and Trends
- Assist relationship managers and local credit teams with structuring, pricing and documentation of larger or more complex commercial loan transactions
- Monitor and review loan underwriting and portfolio management for senior management/regulatory agency review
- Provide subject matter expertise on complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact
- Act as key participant in monitoring and reviewing group loans, underwriting, and portfolio management performance for Credit Risk & Approval
- Provide in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including structuring, and documentation
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Credit Risk & Approval or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong analytical skills
- Deep and proven credit decision making skills
- Broad analytical experience across products, client profile and structures
- Demonstrate ability to navigate difficult and complex risk conversations and situations
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Wealth Management Credit CRE (Commercial Real Estate); Securities Lending / Margin Loans; Alternative assets/investment lending; Ultra- High Net Worth (UHNW)/ private bank credit; or Specialty legal lending
- Up to 10% travel
