In this role, you will:
- Supervise and provide guidance to Bankruptcy managers and teams in procedural tasks and processes
- Manage daily administrative, operations and service level agreements
- Ensure all local, state and regulatory compliance requirements are met
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and risk control in bankruptcy claims
- Oversee complex issues to maximize efficiency and enhance customer service
- Consult with Management or team to optimize bankruptcy and collection efforts
- Partner with Bankruptcy Managers to identify issues and improve bankruptcy and collections efforts
- Collaborate and consult with peers, management, and Bankruptcy team
- Interact directly with bankruptcy agencies, courts, internal and external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Bankruptcy
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4 years of Loss Prevention, Bankruptcy or Customer Service experience in the financial industry, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience leading Bankruptcy processes and procedures
- Ability to analyze applicable policies and procedures to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for efficiencies
- Experience with Loansphere, MSP, SharePoint, AACER
- Pipeline management experience
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting reports
- Intermediate skill level in MS Office Excel – import/export data, pivot tables, filtering
- Ability to identify and evaluate exposures and potential risks
- Exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
