The Fund Accountant 2 is a member of the Galliard Stable Value Operations Team.
Galliard Capital Management, a division of Wells Fargo Asset Management, focuses on providing stable value and fixed income money management services to institutional investors. The firm was founded in 1995 with 15 clients and $1.8 billion in assets under management. Today, Galliard manages more than $90 billion in assets and has over 100 professionals dedicated to serving in excess of 200 institutional clients.

In this role, you will:
- Provide support for complex fund accounting services for mutual funds, collective funds, common trust funds and other fund products
- Resolve accounting, system problems and customer service requests
- Provide daily and monthly fund pricing valuations
- Monitor portfolio metrics and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 6 months of Fund Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Fixed income investments experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of portfolio accounting, fixed income securities, trade settlement operations, the role of systems supporting these functions, and the role of outside participant record keepers
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the nature of collective or mutual fund processes
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
- Familiarity with NSCC. (National Securities Clearing Corporation)
- Experience with PAM (or other securities accounting system), and SEI (or equivalent custodian system)
- Ability to be flexible on working hours
- Stable value product knowledge
