In this role, you will:

• Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives, analytics and reporting to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions
• Develop highly complex, multi-year strategy, forecasting and process improvements
• Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions to highly complex and potentially companywide processes
• Utilize strategies, data, technical resources, and process improvements to improve business outcome
• Lead a team of managers and senior professionals to develop higher risk strategies and process improvements from data that drives business decisions
• Collaborate with and influence team, peers, managers, senior management, technology, risk, and compliance
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications, US:

• 8 years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Functional depth and experience in data, analytics and reporting - working knowledge of tools, techniques, approaches, experience working in complex data environments.
• Experience working in large, complex matrixed environment.
• Financial Services/GSIB experience (preferred) - including non-financial regulatory reporting obligations
• Strong risk and control orientation, experience working on regulatory matters with senior regulators
• Strong partnership and influence skills
• Commercial orientation and good judgement
• Analytics and reporting product management experience
• Bias to action and strong execution and delivery skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• "Builder" mentality
• Ability to "tell a story" with data and translate technical concepts for general managers

Wells Fargo's Global Operations team consists of ~85K people - ~40K people providing middle and back-office support for all five of Wells Fargo's Lines of Business (Consumer and Small Business Banking, Consumer Lending, Wealth and Investment Management, Commercial Banking and the Corporate and Investment Bank) and Enterprise Functions and ~45K people in in India (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai) and the Philippines (Manila) providing a broad range of front, middle and back office and Technology support across Wells Fargo.

Today there are ~1K people in Global Operations providing a broad range of analytic, modeling and reporting functions - in US and global locations. These teams sit across multiple line of business aligned operations groups.

To drive consistency, capture efficiencies, leverage common tools/platforms, improve recruiting, training and career pathing we are consolidating ~50% of our analytic and reporting teams into a new Global Operations Analytics and Reporting utility. This role will report to the Head of Global Operations and will be a member of the Global Operations Leadership team. The role can be based in several locations in one of our Operations hub locations.

The target candidate will have a proven track record in analytics in a large financial services company, a strong risk and control orientation, a "builder" mentality, experience leading large teams, experience in analytics product management, ability to "tell a story" using data and an ability to work with a broad number of stake holders.

Key priorities:

• The successful candidate will stand up the organization - structure, routines, filling open roles - and integrate the operating model and centralized team
• Provide on-going analytic and reporting support across Global Operations
• Assess current state activities and establish a road map spanning location strategy, analytics and reporting process automation, platforms, tools and underlying data environment
• Identify opportunities to improve consistency and quality of on-going analytic and reporting activities.
• Partner with Global Operations Technology to align the Global Operations technology initiative book of work to the analytics and reporting roadmap
• Identify opportunities for the use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Global Operations analytics and reporting
• Establish a community of practice across Global Operations analytics and reporting teams
• Integrate into Wells Fargo's broader data and analytics community.

Pay Range
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
