In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional and with broad impact

Participate in partnering on more complex client and prospect calls along with individuals

Serve as a specialist on lending and banking products and services

Review and analyze complex, multifaceted, large scale, and long-term business challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring sound understanding of the functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer, mentor or coach

This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below

This role will be responsible for the Los Angeles market
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Business Development, Financial Services Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:

4 years of brokerage industry experience

4 years of financial services experience

Business development expertise

FINRA registration including Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

Proven relationship management skills

Ability to build relationships and effectively partner with full-service financial advisors and branch managers on alternative products and service solutions

Knowledge and understanding of business banking: products and services

Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer lending products

Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions

Demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:

Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Registration for FINRA Series 65 or 66 must be completed prior to conducting Investment Advisory business. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required

Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
