What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics (Hybrid) position at Wesco?
We are seeking an Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics. In this role, you will focus on translating business needs and requests into data by developing and reporting supply chain analytics related to purchasing, inventory, sourcing, pricing, etc. along with the management of business systems used within supply chain.
You will work a hybrid schedule both in the office and remotely from home.
Qualifications:
- Conducts analytical activities of system data.
- Conducts data analysis and evaluates intangibles providing management with fact based information.
- Responsible for workflow process systems.
- Runs reporting, including key performance indicators, margins, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Complies with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to function.
- Creates and manages item master.
- Conducts vendor creation and screening.
- Develops and provides analytic solutions to drive process efficiency and performance, process standardization, and improve supply chain planning and decision making.
- Owns the design, development, and maintenance of Supply and Demand Planning tools using SQL, advanced Excel, Llamasoft, and/or Power BI.
Requirements:
- 3 years related experience with a proven track record in supply chain value required.
- Bachelor’s Degree - Supply Chain Management required.
- Masters Degree - Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Proven, effective analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, ability to generate accurate and timely analysis using advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data mining, aggregation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and departments within the organization.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and multi task.
- Motivated self-starter who is organized, efficient and team- oriented.
