Full-Time Police Officer West Manchester Township Police Department, York County, PA
The West Manchester Township Police Department is hiring a police officer for one open position.
West Manchester is a Second Class Township located in York County PA with a population of approximately 19200 people and is approximately 20 square miles. The community is diverse with industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural areas. The Township has professional management and a solid infrastructure.
Certified candidates will earn up to $104,892 depending on experience. Benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage, percentage longevity, holiday pay, vacation, personal leave sick days, uniform allowance, and education pay.

The West Manchester Township Police Department participates in a lateral pay enhancement for current police officers who are certified, have prior experience, meet standards, and are looking for employment.

ACT 57 COMPLIANCE
The West Manchester Township Police Department shall adhere to the requirements of Act 57. This includes an in-depth background investigation and past employer and personal references.
Position Requirements include 21 years of age with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, US citizen, and be able to perform the functions of a police officer as per the department job description. Candidates will be required to pass a background check, interview process, polygraph, physical and psychological exam. All appointments are made by the Township Manager and the Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township.
