Position Title: Driver Recruiter
Position Reports to: Director of Recruiting
Position Summary: Recruiting Class-A truck drivers for a variety of divisions within our operations using a combination of sales, communication, organizational, and digital skills. This is a fast paced and ever-evolving environment based on hiring goals and quotas.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Developing strong and positive relationships within the team, the company, and with our drivers.
- Accept, process and contact applicants over the phone, text, and email in order to qualify and persuade truck drivers to work for us.
- Adhere to internal hiring guidelines and Federal laws surrounding the transportation industry.
- Matching candidates to internal job postings through consultation, rapport building, and utilizing industry terms and ideas to properly connect with drivers. Understand geographical and logistics related concepts
- Persistent work ethic with ability to receive and execute on coaching and direction.
- Interface with our Safety, Operations, and Onboarding departments with respect to hiring and retention efforts
- Developing higher level skills as a professional recruiter such as the ability to recognize serious and qualified candidates efficiently and decisively
- Be flexible and adapt to the changes in our offerings and in our process, ability to pivot from one particular goal to another without loosing productivity
Qualifications Requirements:
Education and Experience: Two years of recruiting or sales experience required.
Skills and Abilities: Must have strong computer skills, specifically using Office 365 programs with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint. Excellent interpersonal and persuasion talents with a strong phone presence and personality. The ability to work within a small team dynamic in virtual and office settings. Most importantly, the willingness and ability to learn and be trainable to the way we do business.
Physical Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Long periods of sitting and use of telephone and PC required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
