What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Fabricator position at Westaff?
We are looking for Experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators for the Monroe, La area!
Pay is $13.00-18.00/hr DOE
SHIFT TIMES: 7:30am - 4:40pm, MONDAY - THURSDAY
- Assemble, Fabricate and install sheet metal components within standard scheduled times and quality standards
- Able to use basic hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts
- Read BOM’s and blueprint drawings.
- Follow safety & assembly procedures.
- Manually lift, turn bend and push to position components for assembly. Ability to handle frequent contact with fiberglass insulation
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions and be reliable.
- Ability to read, use and interpret blueprints, shop packages and read measuring tape
- Previous experience including skills and ability to perform the work will be an asset.
- Assessment of Skills & Ability may be required
