Social Media Marketing Intern

Rate: $20.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our real estate management company in Dallas, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing while contributing to the promotion of our multifamily and single-family properties and engaging with our target audience. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will assist our marketing team in executing social media strategies to enhance our online presence and drive engagement. 

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree program in marketing or communications.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with experience managing professional social media accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and content creation.
• Availability to work in the office 8 hours per day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating compelling and visually appealing content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and Google Business. 
• Help manage our social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing objectives. 
• Engage proactively with our internal and online community by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content from followers, partners, and industry influencers on social media and Westdale's Internal Viva Engage platform. 
• Assist in the execution of social media marketing campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and promotions. 
• Assist in tracking and analyzing key social media metrics using analytics tools within Reputation.com and Meta Business Suite such as Facebook and Instagram Insights. Prepare regular reports summarizing performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.
