Western Express, Inc is recruiting for a Parts Manager to join our Maintenance team. Experience as as Parts Associate is preferred, any TMT experience is preferred. Western Express is an asset-based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with terminals and facilities located across the United States. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and manage inventory for the Service Center Responsible for using reporting to keep inventory levels sufficient for repairs needed, ordering and receiving parts, keeping accurate accounting for all inventory received and distributed Manage day-to-day duties and performance of parts associates\ Experience Experience in Parts/Inventory Management preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, any experience with TMT and Synergize is a plus Ability to manage others, setting goals and expectations and then managing to those goals/expectations Must possess high level of organization, oral, written, and communication skills Performance Measurements Weekly cycle counts performed and accurate Monthly/quarterly Inventory audits resulting in less than 2.5% parts adjusted and 1.5% parts value adjusted Benefits available through Blue Cross Blue Shield to include Medical, Dental, Vision, also a Fidelity 401(k).
