Summary:
The HRM will serve as a strategic business partner for our globally expanding organization. This position will enhance our human resources planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. Role will be responsible for multiple sites and based in Midlothian, Texas. Travel could be up to 40%.
Duties:
- Partners with leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, employee development and training, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to HR business partners, management, and other employees when complex, specialized, and sensitive issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate situations such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Partners with the talent acquisition team to provide recruiting support which may include sourcing, interviewing, and assisting with the hiring of qualified job applicants for various exempt and non-exempt positions Collaborates with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for open positions.
- Review and analyze business metrics to better understand predictive analytics and how it translates to business needs.
- Provides support with compensation and job description reviews. Recommends best practices that are in alignment with the organization's structure and business needs.
- Oversees, and may participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Supports learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources
- Promotes and works as a company culture agent
- Perform other duties as it relates to human resources, as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Minimum five years of previous experience in a similar role.
