What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSR Claims position at Western Reserve Group?
This position will provide support for activities associated with the handling of the claim file. These activities include, but are not limited to; computer input, check issuance, all correspondence, telephone messages, processing reserve changes, and many other miscellaneous items. It contributes to expense management by increasing productivity, utilizing technology and improving workflows. This position is responsible for workflow tracking, quality control, training, CSR procedural support and the fostering of team, departmental and company relationships and promoting positive agency relations.
Salary Grade (4) 15.52 - 19.40 - 23.27
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Make payments, increase/decrease reserves as needed within assigned authority level.
Performs daily work tasks in several areas of the department such as property, casualty, legal and/or subrogation.
Basic understanding of WRG’s software programs and ability to handle inquiries from internal and external customers.
Troubleshoot and report problems that result from processing errors to immediate Supervisor.
Communicate via telephone, fax, electronic and written correspondence with agency, team, departmental and other Company personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
Work closely with Adjusters and their respective Managers to achieve departmental service standards.
Assist with or complete other tasks or special projects as assigned.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Transcribe recorded statements accurately.
Assist/back-up receptionist

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1 years previous related work experience preferred
Introductory education courses will be required if no prior Insurance experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
