Western Tidewater Community Services Board is currently offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as Program Technician. There are both full-time and PRN positions available and the chosen candidate for this position will be responsible for assisting in the execution and maintenance of consumer treatment plans for the consumers within our ID and MH programs.

We are seeking Direct Caregivers (Direct Support Professionals) for various departments throughout our organization:

• Assisted Living Facility-Suffolk, VA
• Residential Homes-Suffolk, VA

Responsibilities and Duties for Direct Support Professional:

• Assisting with the implementation of consumer treatment plans
• Caring for, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of a safe environment for individuals identified with one or more of the following:
• Developmental Disabilities (Adult or Child)
• Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) (Children /Adolescents)
• Serious Mental Illness and/or Substance Abuse (SMI/SA).

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or GED Certificate
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record
• Experience with those that are Developmentally Disabled/Mental Health or residential setting
• Food Handlers Certification
