Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern is responsible for assisting the Human Resources department with recruitment and onboarding of new employees. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews personnel requisitions and posts job openings;
- Schedules interviews and shadows in the process as needed;
- Performs reference checks on applicants;
- Assists in preparing offers of employment to applicants;
- Coordinates health screening, orientation, etc.;
- Coordinates communications with applicants;
- Files and maintains employment records for future reference;
- Assists in preparing new hire packets and orientation materials;
- Assists in printing and distributing staff identification badges;
- Enters new employees in the learning management system and assists in assigning required training and education;
- Demonstrates awareness, understanding and respect of cultural diversity and patients of all ages and socioeconomic groups; and
- Other duties as assigned.
