Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Purchasing team by assisting Project Buyers and Management in improving the supply chain needs for CFI/Westgate Resorts. This role involves supporting the operations purchasing, strategic sourcing, and inventory teams with reporting, analysis, and database management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create new dashboards for Procurement & Sourcing to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly or weekly basis.
- Develop dashboards to monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform category analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Identify tail spend and analyze potential for automation or savings through standardization.
- Identify items with recurring purchases through punch-out.
- Maintain the database in Oracle Fusion, including creating new items, updating existing items, and setting up the supplier network.
- Utilize software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to build automated reporting.
- Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Assist with data cleanup activities for purchasing and sourcing to ensure systems operate at optimum capacity.
- Analyze data to identify saving opportunities by adding items to our warehouse inventory.
- Actively participate in system-related testing activities.
- Gather system-related requirements and work with IT to deliver expected results.
- Create process documents to standardize and improve efficiencies in Purchasing, Sourcing, and Inventory.
- Develop process documentation on an ad-hoc basis.
- Create a frequently asked questions document for the resort operations team.
- Monitor and assist with regular IT tickets for Purchasing, Sourcing, and Inventory.
- Create and manage a list of registered suppliers by category for each resort.
Qualifications
- Must use sound business judgment in all decisions.
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint); must be able to learn automated purchasing systems such as Oracle. Tableau and Power BI are a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Must be a self-motivator.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
- Must be a team player.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, analytics, or a similar field.
- Prior project management experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Supply chain management certification is preferred.
