MANAGER IN TRAINING
Gain experience in leadership by working in a Guest Relations role.
Job Duties :
- Prepare daily arrival packets for guests.
- Greet guests upon lobby entry. Check guests in / out and provide property-specific and local information.
- Process and post cash and credit transactions.
- Assist in answering all incoming phone calls and assisting guests as needed.
- Resolve guest issues in a professional, expeditious manner.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance on guest requests.
- Complete daily checklist and run daily reports as required.
- Maintain lobby and work area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Be receptive to assisting in housekeeping / maintenance to be able to understand / assist in those roles as needed.
- Work with leadership to understand budgeting, managing, owner-COA responsibilities, reservation process, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
- Strong communication skill, both oral and written
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- High School Diploma required
- Associate / Bachelor Degree, preferred
- Motivational and enthusiastic personality
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand or sit during entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
