We are hiring a General Manager for our Brand New Hotel, The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett. Located in Georgia's premier Gas South District, guests can enjoy all of the events at Gas South Arena and Gas South Theater or walk to an event at the Convention Center. Other Atlanta attractions such as World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium and approximately 25 minutes away. Guest rooms and suites offer wellness-enhancing amenities including our Westin Heavenly® Bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, 55" Smart TV, desks with ergonomic chairs, mini-fridge and microwave. Healthy options abound for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Iris restaurant and bar as well as Overstory rooftop bar.
The Ideal Candidate
- Organized, detailed oriented and able to lead a winning team of passionate and service driven hospitality professionals.
- Strong sales background, established networking skills and revenue management skills.
- Proven ability to drive GSS.
- Effective in hiring, mentoring and leading a team toward outstanding results.
- Able to deliver outstanding financial results.
- Extensive full service background with lifestyle brands
- Solid F&B background: hotel has 27,000 square feet meeting/pre-function space, large rooftop bar, 2 restaurants, full service Starbucks and other amenities.
- Prior GM experience required.
As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating and rewarding a winning management team supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the hotel brand, our owners and with Concord in facilitating a successful business operation through the orchestration of brand training, operational deadlines, providing attention to detail in ordering of supplies and following budget guidelines, as well as networking with city officials as the “face” of this exciting and upscale hotel.
