SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for all Maintenance and Tooling area stores, spare parts, re-ordering, inventory, vendor relationships and other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Organized all plant Maintenance and Tooling stores and parts across all storage locations
Purchase and receive all spare parts and consumables for the Maintenance and Tooling departments
Manage the compressed gas tanks, the storage area for these and the ordering and vendor contact for this
Lead 5S efforts in the Maintenance and Tooling stores areas and in the two shops as well.
Manage the Scrap Metal storage and recycling/ sale program
Manage the New Lubricant and Waste Lubricant programs
Conduct and manage all computer records, inputs, and inventories of all Maintenance and Tooling stores/parts.
Institute complete JDE Inventory records through organization, rationalization, labeling and barcoding
Comply with established safety rules.
Comply with company policy and procedures.
Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and managers.
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of supervisor and/or lead.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Knowledge
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Good computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office is required. Forklift experience is preferred.
Communication
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Good verbal communication is essential.
