Quality Auditor-McDowell
The Opportunity:
Assist production to ensure quality procedures are being followed while identifying and giving feedback on barriers, opportunities, and wins observed in the plant. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Support the purpose of the team by participating in initiatives and activities, and attending all meetings scheduled during shift. Additional job duties as assigned by management.
Shift will be 7:00pm-7:00am
Expectations:
- The Quality Auditor role is to ensure that quality procedures are being followed and performed effectively in order to ensure the manufacturing process is correct and identify non-conforming material.
- Provide support for the Plant Lead, Plant Supervisor, SQF Practitioner and work in areas as directed.
- Identify barriers to our quality system and provide feedback of both gaps and wins to Leadership
What you need to succeed:
- Must be able to operate score bend, gloss meter, rub tester, slip tester, open force, spectrophotometer
- Must be able to write detailed audit reports and project summaries
- Excellent computer skills (Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Email, AS400, Shop Floor, Scheduler, Access)
- Must be able to perform quality checks on cartons being processed
- Must be able to sit at computer terminal, telephone use, walk around facility
- Must be able to stand at copier, files, Fedex terminal, lifting boxes
