Weekend RN Supervisor (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Weekend R.N Supervisor (Friday: 7A-3P, Saturday and Sunday: 7A-7P)

The Weekend Nurse Supervisor will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Nursing Department and the entire facility, in fact, functioning as the Administrative Liaison, on Weekends, in the absence of the facility's Administrative Staff.

Training/Experience Required:

• a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse;
• as well as a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience;
• actively engaged in direct patient care/management a minimum of 2 years, recently;
• graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL; and,
• in possession of active CPR Certification.

Major Functions:

• verifies facility staffing w/staffing coordinator, daily, upon arrival;
• completes multiple Rounds on all neighborhoods;
• monitors nursing staff performance, daily (including Annual Performance Appraisals;)
• assesses residents/patients with changes of status, or any incident occurrence, reported by Nurses, or C.NAs;
• completes R.N. Admission Assessments, as needed;
• interprets facility policies and regulations;
• intervenes in emergency situations that may occur;
• ensures the maintenance of a safe environment
• arranges to cover staff call-outs for 11PM-7AM, 7 AM-3 PM and 3 PM-11 PM shifts, called in during duty time;
• speaks with residents/families, as needed; and,
• serves as a role model, by being professional in appearance, comportment and demeanor, at all times.

• NOTE:

  $5,000. Sign-On bonus available to successful candidates, satisfying the following stipulations:

  * Sign-on bonuses will require a "1-Year of Service" Commitment.

  * The Sign-on bonus is available ONLY to FT Nurses;

  * Bonus will be paid, as follows: $2500., once the selected LPN is able to work their assigned Med Cart "on own," or, without assistance; and, $2500.00 payable upon the successful completion of 90-days of service (Probationary Period.)
