Intake Specialist

Job Duties Include but not limited too:

• The proper candidate must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• The proper candidate must be Registered through CCAPP or ACCBC
• Follow Westwind Recovery's policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
• Liaison between the doctor and psychiatrist regarding client issues or doctor concerns and questions
• Responsible for completing all intakes accurately and in timely manner
• Responsible for coordinating intake schedule with Admissions Department
• Responsible for reviewing the Client Handbook with all new clients. Ensuring that all clients are clear on the expectations and sign off on receiving and understanding the handbook
• Gives clients a tour of the IOP, introduces the clients to their therapists, case manager, and their buddy
• Upkeep of the compliance tracker
• Assist with Financial Coordination including but not limited to: Collection of Sober Living Fees and related documentation.
• Assisting with and communicating with patient family members for TruLink cards or related finances
• Responsible for reviewing UA and Covid results and reporting all concerning results to Medical, Clinical, and Management staff
• Responsible for sending out weekly UA results to Medical, Clinical, and Management staff.
• Organizes and upload documents to client files. (if applicable)
• Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards.
• Drug tests clients effectively according to Westwind Recovery's Waived Testing procedures.
• Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to appropriate area or person.
• Follows up with facility rules and expectations, helps clients comply with contracts.
• Organizes Westwind Recovery's cleaning supplies and materials.
• Makes copies of printed materials.
• Completes and documents client assessments and groups
• "Observe and Report" for overall client care
• Helps Treatment Technicians with their daily duties as time permits
• Communicates effectively with Program Director/Director of Operations about Treatment Technician competency and completion of job duties and responsibilities.
• Carries out other responsibilities as delegated by the COO.

Salary : $26 - $30
