WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE:
Our Office of the CTO (OCTO) Strategy & Operations team is looking for a Strategy & Ops Planning Co-Op Intern. This position will support the OCTO team on a number of key initiatives that support our governance, metrics reporting and operational planning.
YOU WILL:
Assist with WEX tech governance forums, metrics reporting and tech operational planning to ensure delivery of most critical initiatives
Contribute to the team’s focus on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to operational planning and governance
Provide analytical rigor and bring strategic vision to key initiatives
Support definition, quantification, and tracking of metrics associated with initiatives, as well as predicting the overall timeline of delivery required for status and executive reporting
Facilitate discussions with Subject Matter Experts to identify opportunities, define problems and develop solutions to address root causes.
Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with your respective business teams

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
At a minimum, you should be a rising senior, OR masters-level student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience with metrics and reporting tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
