What are the responsibilities and job description for the High Density Housing Coordinator position at Weyerhaeuser?
The High-Density Housing (HDH) Coordinator is a member of Weyerhaeuser’s West Distribution Technical Support Team and is closely aligned with the Sales and Operations team. This is a customer service role based out of one of our Distribution Centers in the West (DC). The HDH coordinator acts as the single point of contact for the customer and jobsite during the project construction phase. This position will report to the HDH Team Lead and support the HDH business segment primarily in California.
Key Functions:
The HDH Coordinator prospects, bids, and coordinates HDH projects with our dealer partners and jobsite contacts. The HDH Coordinator works closely with Dealer Sales Reps (DSRs), Design Team Associates, Operations, and ELP teams on the end-to-end process of an HDH project. As a member of the HDH team, the HDH Coordinator is responsible for scheduling job site deliveries and writing up sales orders for the appropriate portion of the building being delivered through its entirety. This is an office-based position, but occasional local travel to customer locations or jobsites may be required - (5-10%).
- Provide sales and technical support that may include the following responsibilities
- Download drawings, specifications and addendums as required
- Create a customized quote outlining the specific products being supplied
- Manage revisions and field changes that arise during the shipping process
- Maintain accurate accounting of project budget, margins, and balance
- Source special order products and high-volume items with replenishment

- Minimum two years sales/customer service experience with more strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Driven to provide superior service and value to customers and profitably grow the business
- Solid team player, partners well with inside and outside sales teams
- Ability to collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Embraces technology to help solve problems and gain efficiency
- Knowledge of structural frame wood products, including engineered wood
- Experience reading and interpreting building plans and drawings
- SAP experience or a proven track record to quickly learn ERP systems
- Excellent PC skills, specifically strong Excel user
- Understands and articulates the financial drivers of retail, wholesale and construction industry
- Uses facts and data to make informed business decisions
The following qualifications are desired:
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary : $45,100 - $57,100
