Candidates must demonstrate the capability to swiftly grasp new responsibilities, apply existing skills to unfamiliar challenges, and contribute effectively across diverse job functions within the scope of the position Schedule : M-F 8 Hour Days Location : Pflugerville, TX, Local travel around surrounding areas to customer sites will be required as needed Principal duties and responsibilities : .
Lead maintenance tasks, logistics and supervisory responsibilities for facility technicians. Ensure peak efficiency of all building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities. Read and understand technical instructions, electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID’s Effectively communicate with leadership, peers and customers Adhere to company with OSHA safety requirements.
Lead and actively participate in system failure investigations and the execution and / or development of change initiatives Address and mitigate conflicts when needed or requested Requirements : Minimum of 3 years’ experience working hands on as a technician (ie : field service, mechanic, trades skill, etc.
Ability to travel 20% of the time if needed between the office and customer worksites. Ability to read and understand technical instructions, electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID’s.
Forklift Operator certification or ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire. Proficient Microsoft Office Suite Preferred : 1-2 years supervisory experience Semiconductor fab experience Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques Plumbing, HVAC, general repair, or mechanical experience (ie : .
military aviation / automotive mechanic, etc). Physical Effort / Activities : Able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push / pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 55 pounds.
