Responsible for provisioning and deprovisioning of hardware to new employees and contractors. Works with Site Support, Asset Management, Procurement, and suppliers to order, stock, provision, ship, and receive hardware and accessories. Secondary priorities will include the processing of on boarding and off boarding access requests and duties according to set policies and defined procedures. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Places timely and accurate asset orders in procurement systems. Receives, prepares, and pre-configures new computer and device settings. Packs and ships hardware, prints postage labels. Responsible for timely delivery of assets to customers. Responsible for receiving, cleaning, restocking, and disposal of assets from customers. Maintains excellent and accurate notes and asset tracking records. Troubleshoots shipping exceptions and works directly with end users, customers, and suppliers to resolve conflicts and answer inquiries to maintain excellent relations. Monitors and responds to ticketing queues, and email Deskside and walkup support including workspace setup and removal The Talent Life Cycle department is highly dynamic and constantly changing to better meet customer needs. Members of this team will be expected to exhibit a high degree of professionalism, resilience, patience, adaptability, creativity, self-motivation and a drive for improvement and excellence to meet or exceed the department mission in support of the company mission. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Exhibits professionalism and excellent customer service Self-motivated Excellent prioritization and time management Excellent verbal and written communication High degree of integrity Understanding of and compliance with confidentiality, security principles, and information protection. Excellent knowledge of computers, accessories, peripherals, and office equipment (use, setup, configuration, troubleshooting) for Windows and Apple based systems Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Qualifications: Basic knowledge of IT, identity and access, security, and information protection standards and process Knowledge of shipping protocols, packaging, shipping, printing postage. Three years of experience in related field Typically requires vocational or general technical education in addition to work experience High School Diploma required Department Specific Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years job experience, Identity, access, IT Preferred Qualifications: A certification highly desired Associate degree Moderate to advanced knowledge of logistics and postage/shipping processes Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at desk/computer must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times Location and Schedule This position is on site only Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Possible additional weekend or overtime as required (but typically rare) As an equal opportunity employer, WGU recognizes that our strength lies in our people.
