Job Summary
Responsible for partnering with management to set the financial and strategic business goals to drive the business, and serve as a financial thought partner in the daily management and decision making required to meet and exceed the team’s financial goals. Provide financial strategy development and implementation; planning and forecasting; and analysis/reporting. Serve as a strategic team member, driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and working closely with the business to achieve goals and create shareholder value.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Leading the implementation of Business Incentive Plan (BIP) into Workday to further automate the current process
- Collaborating with HRIT, HR, and Talent Acquisition Teams to improve the plan assignment process end to end (and how to reduce exceptions)
- Developing reports or dashboards for SLT, Manager, and Payee level
- Building compensation models to integrate newly acquired companies into the current program
- Managing quarterly/annual Business Incentive Plan (BIP) across US payees to scale with business growth
- Calculating monthly BIP Accrual (including monthly GL reconciliation) and providing a yearly forecast for the FP&A team
- Leading continuous improvement and modification in current responsibilities to meet the growing business needs
- Supporting projects related to M&A activities for Sales Finance Team
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve operational issues impacting Sales Finance process
- Documenting SOP and providing training materials to the Payees and Managers
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7 years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of financial analysis/modeling experience with a focus on Sales Compensation and Sales Analytics
- Experience in gathering and manipulating large data sets within multiple ERPs
- Ability to structure, manage, and prioritize projects effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with Sales and Corporate Leadership Teams
- Strong manager with proven ability to mentor and develop strong talent
- Organized and high attention to detail with a focus on accuracy as well as understanding
- Advanced Excel is required and Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI are preferred
