What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Recruiter position at White Line Systems LLC?
White Line Systems is looking for a Driver Recruiter to join our team in the Rockies. This position will seek out, qualify and hire CDL and Non CDL drivers in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. While this position will be based at our Aurora, CO location, it may be necessary to travel to other locations as required.
Essential Functions
- Develop, facilitate, and implements all phases of the recruitment process, potential temporary employees (from placing ads, to interviewing, submitting background checks, drug screens, entry in employee database and conducting orientations)
- Proactively identify, source and recruit candidates using a variety of sources, including social media platforms and other search engines to generate leads to hire the most qualified candidate while meeting our business need.
- Conduct telephone and in person interviews for local candidates, document the results, and drive hiring process with the hiring managers
- Pre-screen potential applicants for other locations in the Rockies Region and schedule in person interviews for On Site Managers
- Work with the managers to develop interview process to ensure job requirements are understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Consistently apply standards for recruitment in all areas including on-line applications, applicant tracking, Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance, consistency of processes etc.
- Manage relationships with candidates to include communication regarding candidate status.
- Inform applicants about our operations and the benefits we offer
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Accurately maintain Driver files
- Manage labor budgets and ensure compliance
- Maintain California EPN and Adverse Action compliance
Qualifications
- Effective Sales and Marketing Skills to resource driver
- Previous experience in Transportation, recruiting, or other related fields
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws, specifically for the State of California
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word)
- Knowledge of budgeting and the ability to reconcile and audit budgets
- Driven and Self-Motivated
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Must work well in both team and independent settings
- Flexible schedule
- Some travel may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
