Payroll Specialist/Accounting Clerk

White River Valley Supervisory Union is seeking a 1.00 FTE, Payroll Specialist/Accounting Clerk. This position is available immediately. This is a year-round position that will manage employee compensation of all White River Valley Supervisory Union districts. Duties will entail entering payroll, working with managers auditing time cards, working with Paychex, bi-weekly and quarterly deduction reporting. The ideal candidate will be ambitious in meeting deadlines within a fast-paced, friendly environment while also being fluent with current compensation laws and regulations. Candidate must be competent and excel in the following: Mathematical skills and accounting concepts Precision and Accuracy in a fast-paced environment Professional Communication (verbal and written) Planning and Organizing Problem Solving Multi-tasking Experience with payroll processing is desired, but not required as on-site training will be available
