Service Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager for commercial trucks to become an integral part of our growing team! The Service Manager will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable shop operation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Service Department employees.
- Evaluate performance of employees, based on job descriptions and departmental objectives.
- Handle difficult customer complaints.
- Greet customers, assign repair orders and mechanics to job.
- Obtain customer and vehicle data.
- Determine needed maintenance and refer to mechanic as necessary.
- Promote the sales of labor and parts to customers in an ethical manner.
- Provide estimate for labor and parts to customers.
- Follow up on progress of each repair order daily and contact customers with estimated time changes.
- Compare final invoice changes with original estimate of repair order to assure consistency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the diesel mechanical industry
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Strong written/ verbal communication skills required.
- Good time management skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
