Note: We are NOT your typical gym! We are an all-encompassing gym offering group fitness, personal training, yoga, nutrition/accountability coaching, and a recovery center including a dry sauna, cold plunge, and near infrared light therapy. A true one-stop-shop for health and wellness!
Job Description:
As a Wholeistic Group Fitness Trainer, you will be at the forefront of inspiring and empowering our members to achieve their fitness and wellness goals. You'll lead dynamic group fitness classes that combine traditional weightlifting and functional mobility exercises, ensuring that every workout is not only effective but also enjoyable and engaging. Your energy and passion will help create a sense of camaraderie and motivation among participants. You will be part of a small, tightly knit team of trainers with opportunities for collaboration, but fully responsible for the creation and style of the group workouts you teach.
***Right now you will start working part time, Mon/Wed/Fri from 4:45am-6:45am. After the first 1-2 months we will add in Saturday from 7:45am-9:45am. Then as we get bigger and add more members we will expand the class times and offer you more hours.***
Responsibilities:
● Lead Energetic Group Workouts: Plan, organize, and lead group fitness sessions that incorporate traditional weightlifting, functional mobility exercises, and other creative workouts.
● Motivate and Engage: Create an energetic and inspiring atmosphere to keep participants motivated throughout their workouts, encouraging them to push their limits.
● Ensure Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of participants by demonstrating proper exercise techniques and monitoring form.
Individualized Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to participants, adapting exercises as needed to accommodate various fitness levels and goals
● Community Building: Foster a sense of community and belonging within the gym, promoting group interactions and mutual support.
● Program Development: Collaborate with the fitness team to develop innovative workout programs that align with our holistic fitness philosophy.
● Equipment Management: Ensure that exercise equipment and facilities are maintained, clean, and in good working order.
● Continual Learning: Stay current with fitness trends, certifications, and industry developments to enhance your skills and provide the best experience for our members.
- Up to 2 hours a week of helping keep gym clean.
Qualifications:
No certifications required. Just know what you’re doing and be passionate about it. Strong knowledge of traditional and functional strength training exercises. Energetic, passionate, and highly motivated with excellent communication skills. A genuine desire to help individuals achieve their fitness and wellness goals. CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
Ability to work flexible early morning hours, with potential evenings and weekends.
