What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Filler position at Wholesale Produce Supply, LLC?
Job Overview: Taking the complete product and filling cases. Palletizing the orders and hauling them to the dock
Compensation: $17.00 hour
Essential Qualifications
- Fill cases with complete product.
- Work in clean, organized and safe manner.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
- Palletizing and hauling orders to the dock.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, manually manipulate and reach outward constantly.
- Lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Schedule
- Production shifts are Monday - Friday starting at 9:00am and work until finished.
- Full-time employees are scheduled five shifts per week, with opportunities for over-time.
Work Environment
The production room is refrigerated and maintained at a temperature of approximately 38 degrees at all times. The work room floor is wet as a result of the fresh produce washing and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. Boots, smocks and hairnets are provided for all production workers.
