Position Purpose
To perform the duties of a Teller, oversee daily teller functions, ensure that all front-line operations are effective and compliance requirements are met, provide coaching to the front-line staff to meet member service objectives.
Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Branch Manager.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Handle a variety of tasks including providing excellent member service in all member interactions, helping to resolve member concerns, following procedures to minimize errors and reduce fraud and processing account transactions effectively
- Work under limited supervision, assist with work flow to ensure tellers are successful, consistently balance their cash daily, have great rapport with members and staff
- Engage members in meaningful financial conversations that include understanding what’s important to them, and recommend services, when appropriate, to further improve their financial lives
- Serve as a role model for other tellers on the team in providing an excellent experience for members
- Follow all policies and procedures required to maintain accuracy, manage risk, prevent fraud, and protect members
- Act as a resource to identify and resolve more complex account servicing issues
- Support the Branch Manager in onboarding and training of new Tellers to the team
- Perform other duties as required by supervisors.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
· High school graduate.

- At least one year member service experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow up with others regarding information needed or provided
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
- Able to handle highly confidential information with discretion
