Summary:
As the Director of Admissions you will manage the facility’s inquiry and admission process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations and follow-up. Wickliffe Country Place, a 170 bed skilled nursing facility conveniently located near I-90 and Euclid Avenue, offers a warm and comfortable environment with staff committed to treating everyone like family- with compassion, respect and kindness. You will make regular visits to referral sources to develop and maintain good business relationships and ensure appropriate admission papers and signatures are obtained from residents or responsible parties prior to admission.:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications or related field preferred.
- Two (2) years equivalent experience in a sales/marketing or admissions position in lieu of degree
- Previous health care community relations experience preferred
- Effective presentation skills preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, reimbursement program from payer sources
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in written form
- Excellent computer skills
- Working knowledge of Federal and state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid).
