Overview
Now Hiring! Quality Control & Inventory Specialist.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Pay type : $17.25-$20.25hr.
Location : Ontario, NY 14519
Wilbert’s started as a one-man collision hop founded in 1952 by the late Arthur Wilbert. Today Wilbert’s has grown from a single facility offering only Buick parts to three facilities offering a full range of recycled domestic and import auto and light truck parts.
We take pride in offering superior customer service selling only quality tested recycled parts all at reasonable prices.
If we don’t have it in our 250,000 parts computerized inventory system, we can locate it and have it delivered to you in 24 hours.
What You’ll Do :
- Locates parts / merchandise and pulls from inventory demonstrating an understanding of the Hollander parts numbering system and warehouse locations according to customer work orders or sales invoices.
- Audits automotive parts / merchandise to order specifications.
- Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.
- Manages inventory efficiently and effectively by placing merchandise in an organized and understandable manner, verifying quality when parts are put into inventory, and ensuring tags are visible.
- Prepares parts / merchandise for storage and / or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping, and packaging to prevent damage.
- Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.
- Continuously audits inventory using our state-of-the-art software and resolves any discrepancies.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education & Experience :
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Certificates and Licenses :
Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and / or assistance is required.
