Job Summary
This is a full time, fully benefited position.
Minimize sales floor outs by ensuring daily stocking processes and associated tasks are being performed correctly and in a timely manner. Directs daily activities and participates in the supervision and performance management of stockers. Correctly prepare farm store merchandise for the sales floor. Stock merchandise and participate in other merchandise and system processes.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Stocking Team towards accomplishing stocking processes and associated tasks daily to minimize sales floor outs.
- Participate and contribute to Stocker management activities with the Store Manager including hiring, positive and negative feedback suggestions and performance appraisal development and delivery.
- Participate in creating work schedules for the Stocking Team.
- Correctly stock merchandise utilizing established stocking and merchandising directives.
- Maintain store orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of backstock merchandise and work areas.
- Properly communicate new items, inventory discrepancies/deficiencies, bin tag needs and quality issues with appropriate store staff.
- Ensure store-wide pick lists are being generated and worked to completion.
Successful Candidates Will Have
- Skill at product recognition.
- The ability to interact successfully with customers and co-workers.
- An aptitude for computer processing.
- 2 years retail stocking experience
- One year supervisory experience
- The ability to lift bags/bales up to 50 pounds
- The ability to pass a post offer, pre-employment drug screen
