Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and identify customer needs
• Understand and recommend target products to customers
• Understand store promotions and advise customers
• Develop customer relationships
• Check out customers and assist them to their car
• Skillfully manage in store visits, telephone visits, curbside visits, and online order fulfillment
• Ability to appropriately respond to customer requests
• Merchandise inventory on the sales floor
• Receive and process incoming and outgoing merchandise
• Monitor inventory and place vendor orders as required
• Create, reconcile, and fulfill purchase orders
• Execute inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
• Open and close the store efficiently and timely
• Accurately account for daily transactions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service
• Ability to build relationships with customers and vendors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be adaptable and flexible – no two days are ever the same
• Ability to prioritize and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs on a regular basis; up to 50 lbs at times
• Ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Attend and contribute to team meetings and events
• Must have own transportation
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
• Ability to work in the Cypress and the Houston Memorial Dr locations
• Must possess basic business acumen including sales, cost of goods sold, gross margin and basic accounting language
• Must possess basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Previous experience in back-office processes a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
