To-Go Specialist

Wild Wing Cafe is a restaurant chain in the southern and eastern parts of the United States with 44 locations in nine U.S. states and best known for chicken wings and beer selection.

Overview

You’ll have fun while demonstrating hospitality in all you do. You’ll have the opportunity to learn your job, do it

well and grow with Wild Wing Cafe. You’re the first person our guest should see, opening the door and inviting

them in with a big smile and inviting them back as they leave.

You’ll support fellow team members – teamwork is a must! You’ll seat tables and help clear tables to proactively

prepare for the next guest. No guest should ever be asked to wait unnecessarily. You’ll help maintain a clean

dining room and ensure floors are always clear of trash. You’ll monitor seating, track open tables and

communicate open menu counts. It’s a job requiring multi-tasking, for sure! The best team members do it with a

smile and positive demeanor, endeavoring to say “yes” to guest requests as much as possible to make their

experience memorable.

This position shares the duties of a host as shifts are interchangeable.

Minimum age requirements may be in place for To Go team by location (alcoholic beverage service (growlers, etc.)

Job Responsibilities

 Hospitality ambassador – smiles and demonstrates hospitality to guests and fellow team members

 Consistently follows Wild Wing Cafe standards – always the best for our guest!

 Knowledgeable about seating systems

 Conducts scheduled restroom checks, completes light cleaning to maintain lobby and restrooms

 Demonstrates teamwork – they can’t do it without you, and you can’t do it without them!

 Ensures proper rotation when seating, seats guests according seating standard, maintains Rotation Sheet,

documents party size and seating location

 Maintains awareness of open menus and communicates to kitchen manager every 30 minutes

 Maintains a positive, upbeat demeanor

 Listens and responds appropriately to guest questions/requests, asking for manager support when needed

 Alerts a manager when guest volume changes – getting busy, slowing down

 Monitor guest rest rooms and ensure that they are stocked and clean

 Maintains lobby area clean and organized

 Completes sidework before clock-out as defined – clean and restock

 Quickly answers the phone with a smiling face and keeps guest informed when “hold” is necessary

 Listens actively and accurately takes to go orders, entering orders in the POS accurately

 Greets To Go guests, reviews to go order for completeness, closes checks accurately, follow cash handling

procedures

 Proactively prepares to go orders, maintains organization to ensure a smooth order/pick-up experience

 Maintains to go log and follows-up with guests by calling to ensure we provided what we promised
