Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced climber/Arborist to join our team. As our 2nd lead climber, you will be responsible for the assessment, pruning and remov of trees and shrubs. Ensuring job safety. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Duties:
- Perform tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, shaping and removal
- Conduct tree risk assessments and identify potential hazards
- Use specialized equipment such as chainsaws, rigging gear, and trucks for tree maintenance
- Provide expert advice on tree care and maintenance to clients
- Collaborate with leadership team to ensure proper integration of trees into garden designs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Arborist or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and treatments
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as chainsaws, rigging gear, and chip trucks
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and lawn care practices
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
