What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bell Staff/Valet position at Wildflower Farms?
Role Summary
Join our team as a member of our Bell Staff/Valet team and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Wildflower Farms family, you will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding experience, from check-in to check-out and at all times.
Core Responsibilities
Ensure the guest experience meets or exceeds all Wildflower Farms / Forbes quality and service standards from Check-in to Check-out. This includes but is not limited to:
- Greet and respond in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing, and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
- Provide guest transportation as required by the hotel's standard operating procedures and drive the Company car and/or Golf Cart.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of the hotel cars and golf carts.
- Provide information and assist staff in recommending area restaurants, theaters, community events, activities, etc. to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints and report guest issues immediately to the guest services manager.
- Maintain organization of the bell closet, and oversee the receiving and shipping of all guest packages.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the front entrance and lobby areas.
- Inspect all parking areas including the hotel valet area and employee lot to ensure proper parking procedures are being followed.
- Assist with making arrangements for group parking when requested by sales.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of Rooms and General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a similar position in a luxury boutique hotel.
- Current and clean driver’s license with the ability to park many types of vehicles.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented.
- Appearance must be clean and professional with a cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to departmental and operational needs.
- Professional appearance and manner, good character to work on a fast-paced team.

- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse issues and collect accurate information, and resolve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
