What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician Per Diem position at Wilkes-Barre Hospital Company?

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Supervisors, Technician Supervisor, or Registered Pharmacist in charge, the Pharmacy Technician I assists in providing pharmaceutical care to all patients.

High School Diploma or GED required.  Courses in mathematics are necessary, typing, and medical terminology helpful.  Up to six (6) months of on-the-job training is provided.

Verbal and written communication skills; independent thinking/sound judgment, manual and finger dexterity.
