Wilkes University invites applicants for an Assistant Sports Information Director in the Athletic Department. Wilkes is a member of the Landmark Conference, Middle Atlantic Conference (ice hockey) and Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) serving over 500 student-athletes.
The successful candidate is responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations/Sports Information Director in all aspects of operating the sports information office. Primary responsibilities include game statistic compilation, video editing, written releases, roster and schedule management, athletics website management, social media management, public address announcing and administrative tasks. A bachelor's degree is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at the collegiate level. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
