Duties:
- Organize and maintain client files and documents
- Assist attorney with drafting and transcribing legal documents
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent phone etiquette to clients and other parties
- Schedule appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Utilize document management systems to store and retrieve important legal files
- Conduct data entry tasks to input client information into the firm's database
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with contract management by reviewing and organizing contracts
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a legal assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formats
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
