Williams Lea is hiring for a Records Analyst for our Washington, DC office to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm! Work requirements include file creation, labeling, retrievals, transfers, destruction, tracking and also document scanning. This position requires regular professional written and verbal communication with our clients, other departments and vendors. Coordination of records scanning and retrieval projects with other departments and external vendors is also required for this position. Good working skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF, eDocs DM and iManage are essential for this position. Qualifications: Records Management basics: Creation and editing of labels, filing, routing/tracking, sending and recalling from offsite vendor, follow-up on checked-out files, destruction Process incoming file transfers to their respective client/matters Process outgoing file transfers Researching on Document Management and Records Software for client’s specific needs Electronical Records experience: scanning and uploading PDF’s into the Document Management System Identifying documents based on type and content Working knowledge of iManage Records Management (IRM) and iManage Document Management software preferred (previous experience with a legal specific records management program required) Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational skills. Comfort dealing with simultaneous projects required Detailed orientated Excellent communication (verbal and written) Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting Customer service oriented Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential materials as required Maintaining daily productivity tracking logs of all department activities and projects Some Office Services/Reception work might be required Job Requirements: 10 years’ experience in law firm Records Management High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelors preferred) Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required Professional, effective written and oral communication skills Intermediate Windows 10 based computer skills required Capacity and willingness to climb short ladders/step stools Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push carts full of files on a regular basis Able to load, push, and unload carts of boxes or files as needed Applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment by their start date Who we are: From our humble beginnings as a print shop in London, to our position today as a global leader in Marketing and Communications services.
