What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Packer position at Wilson Farm Meats?
Responsible to learn and become skilled at the duties of a meat packer by processing, weighing, wrapping, labeling, receiving and rotating all meat products while maintaining proper sanitation standards and handling other responsibilities as assigned, including assisting with courteous and friendly customer service. Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Working in a refrigerated environment (30-40 degrees)
- Working in damp conditions
- Lifting containers ranging from 20 – 80 lbs.
- Working around power equipment and sharp knives
Full-time, Pay based on experience
Minimum Age Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
