Description
Role Summary:
Window Production Associate applies cutting, welding, cleaning and assembly of window units with various saws, frame welding and cleaning machines, while inspecting the entire unit for quality.
Scope of the Position:
The Window Production Associate will be located at the Huntsville, AL site.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reading paperwork/orders
- Assembling window components
- Knowledge of saws, frame welders, and cleaners
- Verifying accuracy of measurements
- Problem solving
- Maintaining a safe clean working environment
- Contributing to a team effort
Position Qualifications:
- Well-developed team skills
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability under supervision
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years experience in production environment
- Carpentry, material handling, and stocking/inventory experience preferred
- Production of plastic wood and glass material knowledge a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, Stand, frequently
- Adapt to various environments including production and warehouse
You will be expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job related duties as requested by management.
