Job Posting for Event Setup at Wilson's Ciderhouse & Venue
Wilson's Ciderhouse & Venue is hiring a small crew to assist in setting up and tearing down/resetting after events. Looking for part-time help interested in the following role/shift:
Ceremony Set Up (Morning Shift)
Estimated Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Weekends
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform any necessary maintenance of the ceremony site, such as removing trash and leftover decorations, sweeping, or leaf blowing.
- Set up and/or tear down ceremony chairs (ranging from 50 - 250 chairs) according to instructions from the Event Coordinator.
- Wipe down all ceremony chairs thoroughly, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Store chairs in an orderly fashion and keep the chair storage shed clean and organized.
- This position includes moving stacks of chairs, loading and unloading them from a cart, and pushing the cart back and forth from the storage shed. Please consider these physical requirements prior to applying.
- This role will be performed outside, in a variety of weather conditions. Casual dress is encouraged for your comfort, but should still be appropriate for the workplace.
Looking for a morning person who enjoys working outside on their own. This would be a great job for someone looking for weekend hours, who enjoys putting their headphones in and focusing on getting the job done. Must have a strong attention to detail and reliable transportation.
Additional hours may be available during the week, if desired, depending on availability. These hours would include deep cleaning the event space (wiping down tables, moving tables and chairs around, sweeping, mopping, setting up tables and chairs, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning windows) and setting up for the next event (folding napkins, setting tables, etc). May include other tasks and cleaning work as well.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
