Night Auditor Job Description
Duties:
- Perform night audit functions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day
- Prepare daily reports summarizing revenue, occupancy, and other statistical data
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
- Provide exceptional guest service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
