What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion RN position at Winston-Beck?
We are looking for an Infusion RN who will be primarily responsible for assisting doctors in an oncology clinic, and will include administering medications and fluids through an intravenous (IV) line, ventral line or venous access port. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team at this cutting-edge clinic and one of the largest cancer centers in the area.
This will be a full-time role, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (No Weekends!!!)
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy or other medications to patients
- Provide holistic nursing care and support for patients and their families
- Communicate with other medical and non-medical staff members.
- Document patient care plans and treatments.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oregon
- 1 year of professional experience as an RN
- 1 years of experience in IV Therapy/Proficient in IV access of all types
- BLS Certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- 1 years of experience with EMR
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
