Job Summary:
The Account Training Manager is responsible for the development of brand training tools/materials for the field team and managing one or more of Winston's brands/clients. In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Account Management, Field Operations, and the Recruiting teams to ensure 100% execution of all client projects.
Responsibilities:
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- Must be solution-oriented, with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities at Retail and coach field team to do the same via strong relationships with Visual, Store and Department Management
- Support Field Training Associates (FTA) development on respective brands in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
- Ensure consistency in training and development strategizes within field training management team
- Evaluate team visit reports/photos to ensure on floor results are visualized and communicated to our clients
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of retail, wholesale or branded apparel experience
- BA/BS Degree or Fashion/Merchandising Degree
- Previous work as a retail coordinator, preferred
- Management experience in business or retail environment
- Regional at an apparel company, preferred
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent and proven training skills, coaching skills and presentation skills
- People Management, Development and Assessment resulting in a strong team
- Computer skills proficient in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, the ability to master our field visit report/photo reporting system and utilize digital photography
- Professional and influential demeanor with senior and middle management at retail and clients
- Effective negotiating skills and effective interviewing skills (recruiting/hiring a plus)
- Ability to adjust to change regularly and be motivated by working with a variety of brands, categories and retailers
- Must be exceptionally organized and a master at Time Management
- Must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays
